Groups are considered a large amount of visitors that visit the group all at the same time.
Each hotel has its own policy on when you will officially be recognized as a group - this can vary from 10 to 20
people.
Usually a group will receive a discount from the hotel once they are recognized as a group.
Positive point of making a reservation as a group is you can get a discount, the negative side is that the group
will most likely have to make a deposit ahead of time to keep the booking.

To make a reservation you must provide the hotel with some basic information about yourself. They will then
contact you back with availability of the hotel and the price, how you must pay for it, etc.
You will have to provide the hotel with a minimum amount of information:
- Name
- Date of arrival
- Date of departure
- Amount of people
- What types of rooms you wish to reserve
If you agree with the terms of the hotel/agency, you can follow their procedure to make a fix booking.
It is important that you receive some kind of confirmation at the end of the booking process.

Payment for a reservation can be made by credit card, bank transfer or cash - this all depending on the hotel
and/or the agency you have made a reservation with.

"PAX" is a shortened term that is used in the tourism sector, meaning: amount of persons.
If you wish to stay in a hotel with 10 adults, you are with 10 pax.

These words are used to define the type of room that are available in a hotel and/or what rooms you wish to
reserve.
Single - Room with 1 bed for 1 person
Double - Room for 2 people with 1 double bed
Twin - Room for 2 people with 2 separate beds
Triple - Room for 3 people, 2 or three beds
Quadruple - Room for 4 people
